Dr. Ciuca:
has been with the
Animal Care Center for 5 years.
He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from John Carroll University
then received his DVM from Ohio State University. Dr. Ciuca enjoys
woodworking and spending time with his wife and four children. His family
also includes his 3 cats and his dog Molly.

Dr. Watters: Dr. Watters has been with the Animal
Care Center since June of 1993.
She graduated with a degree in zoology in 1984 and graduated from Ohio
State University vet school in 1988. Her professional interests include
both feline and internal medicine. Dr. Watters likes reading and spending
time with her 3 children. She has 2 cats and hamsters, mice, parakeets,
fish and snails.

Dr.
Vilkinofsky: has worked at the Animal
Care Center for 3 years. She graduated from the OSU College of veterinary
medicine in 1999. She has a schipperke mix, Ozwald, a yellow lab Vern
and 2 cats, Abbie and Iris. She loves yellow labs and enjoys walking, art
projects and visiting family.

Jen O'Mellan has worked at the Animal Care Center
for 3 years. In June of 2000,
she graduated from Columbus State with an associate degree in Veterinary
Technology. She has a cat named Abbey and she enjoys volleyball, softball,
cross-stitching, and cooking.
Kelly Guthrie joined the Animal Care Center staff
5 years ago. She has a BA in
psychology from OSU and graduated from Columbus State as a registered veterinary
technician. She has a boxer named Zeke. Kelly likes to shop, walk
Zeke and go out to dinner. She is also interested in interior design.
Jessica Bahl has worked as a vet assistant at the
Animal Care Center since May
2002. She is a graduate of Otterbein College in Equine Science/Pre-Vet and
prior to coming to the Animal Care Center she worked as a vet assistant
at MedVet for 3.5 years. Jessica has a shih-tzu named Cody and
a cat named Emma. She likes
horseback riding, rollerblading, hiking, and camping.
Wendy Ray has been employed at the Animal Care
Center since 1990. This was her
first "real" job after graduating from college. Wendy graduated from
Ball State University in Wildlife Biology. After graduating she
moved to Ohio and began working as a kennel
tech/veterinary assistant. She returned to school at
Columbus State and completed a degree in Veterinary Technology in
1994. Wendy has many interests; some of them include traveling, bowling,
volleyball, ballroom dancing, horseback riding and being a
part-time consultant for
Pampered Chef. Wendy has two cats Velcro and Toonces.
Laura Newman began working at the Animal Care
Center in March of 2002 and works
in both the kennel and at the front desk. She is a senior at Ohio State
University working toward a degree in Journalism communication. She has
worked at Hallmark, COSI, and Walt Disney World. She has two Golden Retrievers,
Jack and Jeremiah, and she loves horseback riding, bike riding and
going to the movies.
Christy Wilbur has worked at the Animal Care
Center for over 4 years in both the
kennel and at the front desk. She attends Ohio State as a biology major
and hopes to attend Vet school. She has 3 golden retrievers,
Thumper, Gabriel, and Brinkley, and 1 "feline
terror" named Ella. Christy also has a horse
and loves horseback riding.
Amy Kies has worked at the front desk for since
2000. She has studied theatre
at Ohio State and worked at a small veterinary practice in her hometown.
She has a Chihuahua named Tito, and she enjoys playing guitar, violin,
cello, and piano. Amy also likes crafts and sewing.
Marisa Cull has worked at the front desk since
1998. She is a graduate of Capital
University in English Literature and Philosophy and is currently working
toward a master's degree at OSU in Renaissance literature. She enjoys
spending time with family and friends and playing with her dog, a golden
retriever named Dune.
Christina McDaniels has worked as a groomer at
the Animal Care Center since 1998.
She was trained at the Nash Academy of Professional dog grooming and is
show groom certified. She is trained in all breeds and also grooms felines.
Christina has two dogs, December and Griller Bear.
Courtney Webb has been with the Animal Care
Center since 2000. She has 10
years experience as a groomer and was trained by a women with 20 years
experience who also handled poodles and lhasas. Courtney specializes in
poodles and terriers. She has a lab/chow/Shepard mix named Emma, and she
likes playing softball and spending
time with family.
Julie Moose has worked in the kennel since 1996.
Prior to coming to the Animal
Care Center, Julie received a bachelor's degree in zoology from OSU and
worked at the Columbus Zoo for 4 years. She has two mixed breed dogs, Buster
and Gracie, and 4 cats.
Cortney Slone has worked in the kennel at the
Animal Care Center since 1998. Prior
to coming here, she worked for a groomer in Marysville. She has a boxer
named Vegas, 2 cats named Zoey and Riggs, and fish. Cortney loves the outdoors
and enjoys fishing, camping, and swimming. She also likes spending time
with friends and family. Cortney says she has been an animal lover her whole
life.
Morgan Shull has worked at the Animal
Care Center since April of 2002. She is a student majoring in psychology and
minoring in criminology. She has two dogs Chloe and Driley and one cat named
Doozer
Lisa Kelly has been with the
Animal Care Center since July of 2002. She enjoys sports, music and animals
and will be starting her veterinary technicians degree at Columbus State in
the Fall of 2002.
Rose Cull is the Human Resources Manager and has
been with the Animal Care Center
since 1995. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University in elementary
education and has worked as a teacher and a studio representative for
a commercial photographer. She likes drawing and vacationing at the beach.
Rose is married with two children Brendon and Marisa and she has a Jack
Russell terrier mix named Sophia.
Keri Russell-Hughes has been with the Animal Care
Center since 1990 and holds
the position of the clinic's Operations Manager. She is a graduate of the
Ohio State University in Wildlife Management. Keri has a boxer named Major,
a German Shorthaired Pointer named Wren and a Labrador Retriever named
Goose. She loves spending time with her husband, family, friends, and pets.
She also enjoys fishing, running and working in the yard.
Erin
Hulbert has been with the
Animal Care Center since 2000. She first worked as a kennel supervisor
and is now a veterinary assistant. She enjoys photography but most
of all enjoys her five cats and four dogs.
Shirley Mazzone has been with the Animal Care
Center since 2000. Her
favorite breed of dog is a bichon. Her dogs names are Cee Cee and Buffy.
She loves OSU football and is involved in several organizations
